Urjja Seva-Energy Management Awareness Programme

The IEEE PES Student Branch Chapter CCET Alappuzha, in collaboration with the IEEE PES Kerala Chapter, hosted an insightful Energy Management Awareness Programme, Urjja-Seva, as part of PES Day 2025. The event, funded by MDI, took place on 23rd April 2025 and focused on building a greener tomorrow. The morning session featured a talk on "Carbon Neutrality" by Madhu Krishnan K, the Energy Conservation State Awardee of 2019 (EMC). In the afternoon, participants engaged in a hands-on training session on "Energy Efficiency Kit Development." The event provided valuable insights and practical knowledge on energy management and sustainability.

๐ŸŒฑ TREE PLANTATION DRIVE ๐ŸŒฑ

IEEE PES SBC CET, in collaboration with IEEE PES Kerala Chapter, launched a Tree Plantation Drive as part of IEEE PES Day 2025 on April 22, 2025, in celebration of Earth Day. The initiative encouraged all IEEE PES Student Branch Chapters in Kerala to plant at least one tree on their campus and share a photo of their team with the planted sapling. The Chapter Level Inauguration Ceremony took place at 10:15 AM at the Electrical PG Block, College of Engineering Trivandrum. Participants took a step towards a greener planet, contributing to environmental sustainability.
