IEEE PES Kerala Chapter and IEEE Educational Activities-Kerala, joined hands to organize a webinar on the topic LESSONS TO LEARN FROM APRIL 5 LIGHTS OFF.

This webinar gave a comprehensive assessment and study of events that happened and an analysis of the scenarios faced by the national grid during nationwide LIGHTS-OFF.

The necessity of such an exercise by PES Kerala Chapter has been suggested by none other than, Prof. Saifur Rehman, Immediate Past President-IEEE PES.

The webinar session was engaged by an eminent Professor and researcher in Power Systems- Prof. Sasi K. Kottayil, Professor, Amrita School of Engineering, Coimbatore.The event was conducted on 21/05/2020 from 4.30-6.00PM.
