IEEE PES SBC RIT conducted an online hackathon with a 24-hour duration, open to all college students on the theme ‘science in everyday life’. The competition spanned for 24 hours starting on 20th March at 8 PM and ending on 21st March at 8 PM. The entries were judged by an esteemed panel of judges. The participants were either to form a team of a maximum of 4 members or participate individually.

A problem statement was given to the participants before the event for which the solution was to be submitted and a solution format was also provided. We received 11 outstanding entries which showed the quality that we expected. The first two winners were awarded a prize pool of 1000. The first prize is 600 and the second prize is 400.
