Paper Presentation Contest – Energy Transition Conclave 2025

The Energy Transition Conclave 2025, hosted a Paper Presentation Contest organized by the IEEE PES Kerala Chapter in collaboration with INSDES & KSEBOA. The contest, held in 2025, served as a platform to showcase innovative ideas and research from bright minds across Kerala, focusing on advancements and solutions in the energy sector. Participants presented their papers to a panel of judges and an engaged audience, fostering an environment of intellectual exchange and collaboration. The event highlighted the importance of research and development in driving the energy transition.The winners were recognized for their outstanding contributions: Noora Thasneem N S, Advitiy Srivastava, Devika Praveena Saji, and Sanjana A J secured the first prize with their geometrical investigation on a J-Shaped Oscillating Water Column Wave Energy Converter integrated with a floating breakwater. The second prize was awarded to Adithyan M, Bilal M, Tesmi Vincent, and Aardra Biju for their work on bi-directional power flow control in grid-interfaced solar water pumping with PWM on a PWM BLDC motor drive. Dr. Nithya Mohan and Dr. Sreejith S S received the third prize for their research on NGQD-EWG systems for efficient hydrogen evolution and fuel cell powering in portable energy modules. The contest was deemed a success, with positive feedback from participants and organizers alike, underscoring its educational value and impact on the energy transition discourse. Energy Transition Conclave 2025

The Energy Transition Conclave 2025, a collaborative initiative by the IEEE PES Kerala Chapter, INSDES, and KSEBOA, was successfully held, drawing significant participation from engineering colleges throughout Kerala. The conclave served as a dynamic platform for exploring advancements and challenges in the energy sector, fostering insightful discussions and knowledge exchange among attendees. The event featured a rigorous selection process, with 12 papers chosen for presentation from 35 submissions, showcasing innovative research and practical solutions. Additionally, 10 poster entries were selected from a pool of 20, highlighting a diverse range of projects and ideas. The Conclave recognized and celebrated outstanding contributions by awarding prize money, certificates, and consolation prizes to the winners. The organizers extended their sincere gratitude to all dignitaries, participants, and the SLT team of IEEE PES Kerala Chapter for their unwavering dedication and efforts, which were instrumental in ensuring the conclave's resounding success.
